3D - Market View. Experience a new view at amrket data.

3D Market View uses the latest 3D technologies to give an overview of today's' markets. See many stock at the same time, compare each other and make the experience that "one picture is worth more than thousand words" (or numbers). The current preview shows the DOW 30 components and the S&P100 components. It supports the free QuoteTracker also. The full version has additional interactive markets, almost all industries. You can easily define your own market components. 3D-Market View shows the market in different flavors. The following examples, showing the DOW 30 (dated Oct. 24, 2006) give an impression of the application's capabilities:
1. The percentage of change of the individual DOW 30 components. The topmost, here WMT (Walmart) made the biggest change (1.76%). The symbol with the deepest fall is DIS. The size of the sphere represents the current volume.

2. All relevant parameters as open, high, low, close or last, previous, volume, 52wk-high and 52wk-low of the 30 DOW components in one view. Hover the mouse over the symbol of IBM to see the meaning of the different elements.

3. The same picture as above, but showing changes and volume only.

4. Add fundamental information to the view. The terrain below the components shows the earnings per share.

5. A 3 month view of the DOW components. from the inside(the oldest data) to the outside. This view is available as money view of percentage change view.

6. Upside down.

7. Historical chart with study (5 day moving average)

Prerequisites: Windows XP Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and Microsoft DirectX 9.0 (August 2006 or later) 3D-MarketView shows public available delayed YAHOO quotes. It also gathers quote information from the free QuoteTracker, if installed. QuoteTracker support most common quote streams. Other streams are in preparation.

Select how the market presents itself.

Available are the market view, the sphere view, historical charts with studies and the market breath.
Examples are shown when you scroll up.
We are constantly imporving the type of market presentation.

Instead of the volume show the volume compared to the average volume.
This gives an impression if a large volume shown is extraordinary or just something regular compared with other trading days.

Show the changes of today only.
Changes are expressed as (last - open).

Show changes compared with the close of the last day instead of the open of today.
Changes are expressed as (last -previous close)

Hide / show the name of the symbol.

In complex presentations, the names of the symbols my give a diffuse view. Here you can remove the symbol names from beeing displayed.

Sort the symbols of the market.

The market view and its subviews are sorted according to your choices.
Parameters are: symbol name, last, volume, change, percentage of change, market capitalization and deviation.
Deviation shows the current position of the symbol compared with the 50 and 200 day moving average. (Available with YAHOO quotes only)

Show fundamentals for all symbols of the selected market.

The fundamentals are shown as grid in the marketview.
Among the available fundamental data are EPS, dividends, short ratio, EBITDA.

Hide / Show a historical price chart and other information about the symbols.

When hovering over the market presentation, current information about the symbol, including some fundamental data, are display at the right side of the window.

Hide: The information disappears (same as right click the mouse)
Chart: Shows a chart of the symbol from Internet. The period depends on the period selection.
Info: Displays a web browser with symbol information from YAHOO.

Select the period for historical charts.

This information is used in the historical chart view as well as in any chart display from the Internet.
Available are Days, Weeks, Months and, when using streaming data, 1Min, 5Min and 15Min periods

Retrieve new quotes, if not in streaming mode.

List of the symbols of the selected market.
Clicking on a symbol in the list highlights the symbol in the market and displays related information.

Insert studies into the historical charts.
Historical charts can amended with studies.
